Blizzard Entertainment confirmed that a new legendary two-handed axe will be introduced in World of Warcraft Dragonflight's upcoming Patch 10.2. Unlike the previous class-specific legendary weapon, this axe will be available to any character that can use two-handed axes. The developers aim to make the acquisition of rare items more rewarding and less frustrating for players. The legendary axe will be tied closely to the story and character of Fyrakk and is expected to be a raid drop from the final boss of the upcoming raid, Amirdrassil.
