Nintendo Life reports that the Switch eShop versions of Pokémon FireRed & LeafGreen reportedly fix the Roar glitch that could prevent catching the legendary beasts (Entei, Raikou, Suicune) in a single playthrough, according to player reports and datamines. Additionally, these Switch versions now grant the Mystic Ticket and Aurora Ticket after entering the Hall of Fame, with the appearing legendary tied to the starter choice (Raikou for Squirtle, Entei for Bulbasaur, Suicune for Charmander).

Unveiling the Secrets of Pokémon Scarlet & Violet's Indigo Disk DLC

The newest DLC for Pokemon Scarlet & Violet introduces Gouging Fire, an ancient form of the legendary Entei. Gouging Fire is exclusive to Pokemon Scarlet, while the future versions of other legendary Pokemon go to Pokemon Violet. To unlock Gouging Fire, players need to have registered more than 200 Pokemon in their Blueberry Academy Pokedex and complete a quest from Perrin. Gouging Fire can be found in Area Zero, and players can catch it by using Quick Balls, status effect attacks, and Ultra or Timer Balls.
