Legacy of Kain: Defiance is getting a PS5 remaster with updated visuals, modernized controls, and bonus content, releasing March 3, 2026 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch 2/Switch, and PC; pre-orders on the PS Store are $24.99 and include exclusive “Shifter” skins for Kain and Raziel. The announcement also reveals Legacy of Kain: Ascendance, a fast-paced 2D action platformer by Bit Bot Media and FreakZone Games that serves as a prequel to Soul Reaver, featuring retro-inspired visuals with occasional 3D sections.
