Lawrence Turman, the Oscar-nominated producer of films such as The Graduate, American History X, and The Great White Hope, has passed away at the age of 96. Turman had a successful career spanning six decades and also served as the head of the prestigious Peter Stark Producing Program at USC. He was known for his contributions to the film industry and his book "So You Want to Be a Producer."
