Samsung's AR Glasses to Challenge Meta with AI and Qualcomm Tech by 2025
Samsung is set to release its first augmented reality smart glasses in the third quarter of 2025, with an initial production run of 500,000 units. These glasses, developed in collaboration with Qualcomm and Google, will feature a Qualcomm AR1 chipset, a 12-megapixel camera with a Sony IMX681 sensor, and support for AI features and mobile payments. The device is expected to be lightweight at 50 grams and may be announced at a major Samsung event in 2025.
