The National Drops Surprise Album 'Laugh Track' at Homecoming Festival
The National surprised fans at their Homecoming Festival in Cincinnati by announcing the release of their new album, Laugh Track, just five months after their previous LP. The album will be released digitally on Sunday night, with a vinyl release scheduled for November. The band also performed new singles "Space Invader" and "Alphabet City" during the festival, and Patti Smith joined them on stage for a rendition of "I Need My Girl."
