LDS Church Unveils Yorba Linda Open House/Dedication and New Temples in Guatemala, Mozambique, and Utah

The First Presidency announced the Yorba Linda California Temple open house (Apr 30–May 23, 2026) and dedication on Jun 7, 2026, with a media day and guest tours prior. It also set a March 14, 2026 groundbreaking for the Huehuetenango Guatemala Temple, and revealed the Beira, Mozambique Temple’s location on Avenida 24 de Julho (first temple in Mozambique). Additionally, the Spanish Fork, Utah Temple location was announced on an 8.7-acre site at 100 South and 2550 East, expanding Utah’s total to 32 temples.

Bacolod Temple Milestones and San José Temple Renaming

The First Presidency announced the opening, open house, and dedication dates for the Bacolod Philippines Temple in 2026, and also revealed that the San José California Temple will be renamed the Sunnyvale California Temple. Additionally, preliminary work is set to begin on the new Fairview Texas Temple, with more temples planned across the Philippines and California.
