A man, identified as Major Sanford, is facing murder charges after allegedly shooting and killing a man near Las Vegas Academy. Sanford, who has a history of arrests and serving time in the Nevada prison system, was seen shooting into the victim's apartment before leaving the scene. He is also facing charges for discharging a gun into an occupied structure, possession of a gun by a prohibited person, and carrying a concealed weapon without a permit. The victim's identity and cause of death have yet to be released.
