Steam Introduces Language-Specific Review Scores to Enhance Relevance
Valve is updating Steam's review system to exclude reviews in other languages when calculating overall scores, aiming to reduce review-bombing and better reflect regional player experiences. This change applies to games with at least 2,000 reviews and 200 reviews in a specific language, allowing users to see language-specific review breakdowns, while maintaining an option to view the old system.
