Five College Basketball Players Selected for Team USA's AmeriCup and International Tournaments.
Michigan guard Laila Phelia has been selected to compete for the United States in the FIBA Women’s AmeriCup, to be held in León, Mexico from July 1-9. Phelia was among the eight players selected after participating in team trials held in Colorado Springs. The U.S. has won gold four times, including the last two, since the event began in 1993.
