Rogue officer blamed for deadly Tunisia synagogue shooting.
Two worshippers and a guard were killed, and nine others were injured when a Tunisian officer opened fire at the heavily secured El Ghriba synagogue during the annual pilgrimage of hundreds of Jews on the island of Djerba. The officer was shot dead by Tunisian guards protecting the synagogue. The motive behind the attack is being investigated. The El Ghriba synagogue was previously targeted by Al-Qaeda terrorists in 2002, killing 20 people.
