
Jung Hoo Lee: Giants' New Outfielder Signs Lucrative Deal
The San Francisco Giants have signed Korean outfielder Jung Hoo Lee to a six-year, $113 million deal. Lee, who has been highly regarded as a prospect, hit .340/.407/.491 in six seasons in the Korea Baseball Organization. The 25-year-old's deal includes an opt-out after four years, and the Giants will pay a posting fee to Lee's KBO team, the Kiwoom Heroes. Lee is expected to be a leadoff-hitting outfielder with a high average and on-base percentage.
