Twins Send Bailey Ober to Triple-A, Call Up Kody Funderburk
The Minnesota Twins have optioned pitcher Bailey Ober to Triple-A and selected Kody Funderburk to the major league roster. Ober, despite his solid performance this season, has struggled recently, and the Twins want to monitor his workload. Funderburk, a left-handed reliever, will provide another option out of the bullpen. The Twins also transferred Oliver Ortega to the 60-day injured list, effectively ending his season.
