"Police Shoot Knife-Wielding Man in Downtown Willmar"
A Willmar police officer shot a man who threatened him with a knife, with the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension investigating the incident. The man was hospitalized, and the officer sustained minor injuries. This comes after another BCA investigation into the use of a Taser by a Kandiyohi County deputy on a 75-year-old man during an attempted eviction in Willmar, who later died. There's no indication the two investigations are connected.
