Investigation Update: Missing Florida Teen Madeline Soto Believed Dead

The Orange County Sheriff's Office announced that they are "confident" that missing 13-year-old Madeline Soto is dead, with her mother's boyfriend, Stephan Sterns, being considered the prime suspect. Video evidence showed Sterns discarding items in a dumpster and later returning to the apartment complex with Soto in the car, leading investigators to believe she was already deceased. Sterns has been arrested on charges of sexual battery and possession of child sexual abuse material, and the Kissimmee Police Department will now lead the homicide investigation.
