Six Flags Retires Kingda Ka for New Record-Breaking Coaster
Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey has announced the permanent closure of Kingda Ka, the world's tallest roller coaster, to make way for a new record-breaking ride. The park plans to introduce two new roller coasters: The Flash: Vertical Velocity, a super boomerang coaster opening in 2025, and a mysterious multi-world-record-breaking launch coaster set for 2026. Several other rides, including Green Lantern and Zumanjaro: Drop of Doom, will also be demolished as part of the park's multi-year expansion plan.
