Nigeria has been shaken by two mass kidnappings within a week, with hundreds of women and children abducted in separate incidents in Borno and Kaduna states. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has condemned the abductions and directed security agencies to rescue the victims. The first incident involved about 200 people, mainly women collecting firewood, while the second saw at least 100 students abducted from a school.
