From Key Fob to Cross-State Capture: How Utah's Triple-Murder Suspect Was Tracked
Authorities tracked 22-year-old Ivan Miller, an Iowa resident, from Utah across the Four Corners region into Arizona and Colorado after three women were killed in Wayne County. Using automated license-plate readers and a victim’s car key fob, investigators followed the suspect’s movements, leading to his arrest in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. The victims were Margaret Oldroyd, 86; Linda Dewey, 65; and Natalie Graves, 34. Miller confessed that he killed the women because he needed money, and he had stolen their Buick Regal and a white Subaru used at the trailhead killings.
