"Alabama Defensive Coordinator Kevin Steele Announces Retirement"
Alabama defensive coordinator Kevin Steele, who just completed his third stint at the university, is set to retire from coaching after 40 years, including 13 in the SEC. Steele, who was a finalist for the Broyles Award in 2017, has been a defensive coordinator at five different schools and also coached in the NFL. His retirement leaves three openings on Nick Saban's coaching staff at Alabama.
