Angels Injure Neto, Outright Padlo
The Los Angeles Angels have placed shortstop Zach Neto on the 10-day injured list due to lower back inflammation, while reinstating Brandon Drury from his own IL stint. Neto's return timetable is uncertain as he deals with lingering back discomfort, marking his second IL stint in two months. Infielder Kevin Padlo has accepted an outright assignment to Triple-A Salt Lake after being designated for assignment. The Angels will rely on Luis Rengifo and Drury to fill the infield void left by Neto's absence.
