Kenosha School Staff Prevents Potential Shooting, Teen Arrested
A potential school shooting was averted in Kenosha, Wisconsin, when staff at Roosevelt Elementary School stopped a 13-year-old boy carrying a rifle from entering the building. The teen, who attends Mahone Middle School, was later arrested after being located by police. Surveillance footage showed him with a semi-automatic rifle, and investigators found evidence of internet searches related to school shootings. The incident prompted a lockdown of all Kenosha Unified schools, and the teen remains in custody as police continue their investigation.
