
Gun scare at Waterbury high school leads to student arrest and lockdown.
Kennedy High School in Waterbury, Connecticut, was put on lockdown after a student from Wilby High School was reported to be in possession of a weapon. However, no weapon was found and all students and staff are safe. Waterbury Public Schools reminded the community that unauthorized access to a school building is treated as a serious offense with disciplinary consequences. This comes a day after a student at Crosby High School was arrested for bringing a handgun into the school.
