Nothing has launched its first over-ear headphones, the Headphone (1), featuring a unique transparent design, customizable controls, up to 80 hours of battery life, and audio tuned by KEF, priced at $299 with pre-orders starting July 4 and shipping from July 15.
KEF introduces four new Kube MIE subwoofers with sizes ranging from 8" to 15" and featuring front-firing drivers, amplifiers, and wireless compatibility, with prices starting at £599. Additionally, the company unveils the KC92 subwoofer, a larger model with side-firing force-cancelling drivers, twin 500 Watt Class D amplifiers, and enhanced bass capabilities down to 11Hz, priced at £2499. All models are set to ship at the end of the month.
KEF has launched the LSX II LT Wireless Hi-Fi Speakers, a more affordable version of its LSX lineup, priced at $1,000, down from $1,400. The speakers offer pristine sound, diverse wireless connectivity, and a sleek design, with features such as multi-room connectivity, wireless streaming options, and a variety of wired connectivity options. The LSX II LTs cater to digital-loving users and come in new colors. They do not feature wireless connectivity between the speakers and require a physical connection using a specially designed C-Link USB-C PD interspeaker connection cable.
The KEF LSX II LT wireless active speaker system delivers impressive sound quality with deep bass, high detail levels, and a wide soundstage. It handles lower-resolution content well and is tolerant of various audio file types. However, it may not fill larger rooms with sound as effectively, and some users may miss having analog inputs.
