WhatsApp has introduced a new feature called Keep in Chat, which allows users to save messages in a disappearing message thread. The person who sent the message will be notified and can decide whether to keep it in the chat. A bookmark icon will appear next to saved messages, and they can be accessed in a Kept Messages folder. WhatsApp suggests that this feature may be useful for saving important details, but those who sent the message can veto saved messages to protect their privacy.
