Arrested Teens Linked to Spree of San Diego Store Robberies
An employee at a restaurant in Kearny Mesa, San Diego, may have witnessed the suspects fleeing after robbing a nearby liquor store. Three teenagers, two 16-year-old boys and a 14-year-old boy, were arrested in connection with at least six armed robberies across San Diego County. Police recovered firearms, including an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle and a ghost gun. The suspects, described as young Black and Hispanic males wearing hooded sweatshirts and masks, targeted convenience stores during late evening hours. The employee expressed concern about the young age of the suspects and the potential for future incidents.
