ICC Prosecutor Karim Khan Cleared by Judges Over Misconduct Claims
A panel of three ICC judges found that UN OIOS findings do not establish misconduct by ICC Chief Prosecutor Karim Khan, who had denied the allegations and took voluntary leave in May. The confidential panel report was sent to the ASP; the bureau has 30 days to issue a preliminary assessment, Khan 30 days to respond, and the bureau 30 days to reach a decision, after which the investigation could be closed if no misconduct is found.
