Rempe Replaces Kakko in Rangers' Game 2 Lineup
Kaapo Kakko was a surprise healthy scratch for the New York Rangers in their Game 2 victory over the Panthers, with Matt Rempe taking his place in the lineup. Head coach Peter Laviolette made several lineup changes, including promoting Filip Chytil to the top line. The Rangers played with 11 forwards after Jimmy Vesey was injured, and if Vesey is unable to play in Game 3, Blake Wheeler may make his playoff debut. The Rangers are now 3-0 in overtime games this postseason.
