Norwegian Climber's Testimony Reveals Harrowing K2 Rescue Challenge
Norwegian climber Kristin Harila, who set a record by becoming the world's fastest climber, defended herself against claims that she could have done more to save the life of a Pakistani porter who died on K2. Harila stated that it would have been impossible to carry the injured porter down the snowy mountain. The controversy arose after drone footage showed climbers passing the injured porter on their way to the summit. An investigation is underway to determine if more could have been done to save the porter's life.
