The Boston Red Sox have activated left-handed reliever Joely Rodríguez from the injured list and optioned right-hander Justin Garza to Triple-A Worcester. Rodríguez had been sidelined with left shoulder inflammation and struggled in his limited appearances this season. With Rodríguez's return, the Red Sox now have three left-handed pitchers in their bullpen.
