"Devastating Juniper Fire Engulfs Perris, Destroying Homes and Acres of Land"
The Juniper Fire in unincorporated Perris, Riverside County, has consumed 55 acres and multiple homes, with at least one structure in flames and others threatened. The fire started near Santa Rosa Mine Road and is currently 5% contained. Evacuation orders have been downgraded to warnings for residents in the surrounding area. The Riverside County Fire Department has dispatched 99 firefighters and a dozen aircraft to combat the blaze. Another major fire, burning 90 acres of vegetation, has been reported in Mentone in the Inland Empire.
