Multiple 'Most-Wanted' Fugitives Captured in Indiana
Joshua Smiley, a 26-year-old Fort Wayne man who was on the U.S. Marshals Service's 15-Most-Wanted list, has been arrested and is being held in Huntington. Smiley is a suspect in the August 2021 shooting death of a man in Mobile, Alabama, and is also wanted for a bond violation on a federal drug charge in Fort Wayne. He was previously charged with murder in two separate cases but ultimately pleaded guilty to assisting a criminal in one and had charges dropped in the other.
