Retired Detective Takes on Human Trafficking with Nonprofit
Joseph Scaramucci, a celebrated detective known for his work in fighting human trafficking, has retired from the McLennan County Sheriff's Office after 16 years to join an Oregon-based nonprofit group called Skull Games. As the director of law enforcement engagement, Scaramucci will continue his efforts to combat human trafficking and child exploitation on a global scale. Throughout his career, he has trained law enforcement agencies, conducted sting operations, and contributed to the arrest of sex buyers and traffickers. Scaramucci will also remain a reserve deputy sheriff, assisting with local operations while working remotely from his home.
