Jordan Westburg Gets Call-Up to Orioles.
The Baltimore Orioles have selected the contract of top infield prospect Jordan Westburg from Triple-A Norfolk, while passing catcher Jose Godoy was outrighted to Triple-A. Westburg, who was the No. 30 overall pick in the 2020 draft, has been tearing through Triple-A pitching this year and is widely regarded as one of the sport's top prospects. He'll likely be given the opportunity for regular plate appearances, potentially cutting into the playing time for veteran second baseman Adam Frazier and slumping shortstop Jorge Mateo.
