James Madison QB Jordan McCloud seeks new opportunity in transfer portal
James Madison quarterback Jordan McCloud has announced that he will enter the transfer portal after helping lead the team to an 11-1 record this season. McCloud, who transferred to James Madison after stints at Arizona and USF, completed 68.87% of his passes for 3,400 yards, 32 touchdowns, and 9 interceptions in 2023. His decision comes shortly after JMU's head coach, Curt Cignetti, was announced as the new head coach at Indiana, leaving a need for a starting quarterback at JMU. McCloud's destination is currently unknown, but he will have one year of eligibility remaining.
