The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office has stated that there is "no indication of foul play" in the death of Cole Brings Plenty, nephew of "Yellowstone" actor Mo Brings Plenty. Cole, who was found dead in a wooded area, had been missing since Easter Sunday and was wanted by the Lawrence Police Department on allegations of domestic violence. His cause of death remains unknown.

Two individuals, identified as Suad Al Yasiri and Willie Davis, drowned in Lake MacBride in Iowa after their canoe tipped over. Despite immediate response from emergency services, the victims were found under 23 feet of water and were not wearing life jackets.
