Remembering John Gosling: The Kinks' Keyboardist Passes Away at 75
John Gosling, former keyboardist for the Kinks, has passed away at the age of 75. Gosling joined the band in 1970 and played on 10 albums, contributing to hits like "Lola" and "Celluloid Heroes." The Kinks expressed their condolences to his wife and family, with lead singer Ray Davies and guitarist Dave Davies paying tribute to their former bandmate. Gosling's departure from the Kinks led to Gordon Edwards taking over on keyboards, and Gosling later became a founding member of the Kast Off Kinks until his retirement in 2008.
