Rockets Secure Landale and Mills in Major Offseason Moves
Jock Landale, former center for the Phoenix Suns, has agreed to a four-year contract worth $32 million with the Houston Rockets. The first year is guaranteed, and Landale became an unrestricted free agent after the Suns pulled his qualifying offer. The Suns have added Drew Eubanks and Chimezie Metu to their frontcourt on minimum deals. Landale played 69 games for the Suns, averaging 6.6 points and 4.1 rebounds per game. He started four games and had a strong performance in the playoffs. Landale joins a group of free agents heading to Houston, including Fred VanVleet and Dillon Brooks.
