Reliance Retail Introduces Affordable JioBook Laptop with Impressive Features
Reliance Retail, owned by Mukesh Ambani, is set to launch a $200 laptop called JioBook in India next month, aiming to replicate the success of its low-cost cell phone. The 4G-enabled laptop will run on JioOS, an operating system based on Google's Android OS, and will come pre-installed with JioTV and JioCloudGames apps. Reliance is known for disrupting markets with competitive pricing, as it did with its wireless venture Jio Infocomm in 2016.
