Attempted Second-Degree Murder Charges Filed Against Jewish School Shooting Suspect
Joel Bowman, the suspect in the shooting outside a Jewish school in Memphis, has been charged with attempted second-degree murder, among other charges. Bowman, who was diagnosed with PTSD, allegedly fired shots while trying to enter the school. A childhood friend of Bowman's believes that he did not intend to harm anyone and attributes the incident to a change in medication and a serious mental illness episode. Bowman is currently in the ICU and stable, with no visitors allowed except for law enforcement.
