"Convicted Killer Jeroid Price Recaptured After Early Release"
Convicted killer Jeriod Price, who had been on the run for months, was apprehended in New York by the FBI and NYPD based on a tip received by South Carolina law enforcement authorities. Price, who was sentenced to 35 years in 2003 for the murder of a former football player, had his sentence reduced to 19 years and was released in March. However, the South Carolina Supreme Court ordered him back to prison in April. Price will be taken to a reception and evaluation center in Columbia until his permanent custody placement is determined.
