Jeremy Groseclose, a Montgomery County man who participated in the U.S. Capitol insurrection on January 6, 2021, has been found guilty on several charges, including obstructing officers during a civil disorder, obstruction of an official proceeding, disorderly conduct in a Capitol building, and parading, demonstrating, or picketing in a Capitol building. Groseclose was identified in multiple video clips inside the Capitol building and had made social media posts about his involvement. The court reversed charges of entering or remaining in a restricted building or grounds and disorderly or disruptive conduct in a restricted building or grounds.

Multiple Guilty Verdicts in Jan. 6 Capitol Breach Cases

Jeremy Groseclose, an Elliston man, has been found guilty of felony and misdemeanor charges for his involvement in the January 6, 2021 Capitol breach. The evidence presented by the government included videos and images of Groseclose inside the Capitol building with the mob of rioters. His actions, such as obstructing an official proceeding and preventing Capitol Police from accessing the scene, were captured on security footage. Groseclose's sentencing date has yet to be scheduled.
