
Jefferson City House Explosion Injures Six, Investigation Underway
Six people were injured in a house explosion in Jefferson City, Missouri, early Saturday morning. Emergency crews, including the Jefferson City Fire Department and Special Operations Rescue Team, responded to the scene, providing critical care and extricating victims from debris. Two patients were airlifted to University Hospital in Columbia, while four others were transported by ambulance. The cause of the explosion is under investigation, and two pets were also rescued. Multiple agencies provided mutual aid, and the Jefferson City Public Works Department assisted with debris removal.
