Former Corrections Officer and Teacher Plead Guilty to Child Pornography Charges

A former corrections officer at the Jefferson City Correctional Center and his wife have pleaded guilty to charges of conspiracy to produce child pornography and producing child pornography. The couple admitted to being part of a child pornography production conspiracy from July 2019 to June 2022, involving a child younger than 12. The investigation began after a tip was received about the husband uploading child pornography and discussing child molestation on the social media platform Kik. Authorities found multiple child pornography videos, including one showing the couple assaulting an unconscious 4-year-old. The government will recommend a sentence of 30 to 40 years in prison without parole.
