Grizzlies Bolster Roster with Shaquille Harrison and Jaylen Nowell Signings
The Memphis Grizzlies are signing guards Shaquille Harrison and Jaylen Nowell to 10-day hardship exceptions due to several significant injuries on their roster, including the absence of All-NBA guard Ja Morant. The Grizzlies have been granted the exceptions as five players are expected to be out for two-plus weeks. The team is currently without key players such as Steven Adams, Brandon Clarke, Marcus Smart, Luke Kennard, Xavier Tillman, and Jake LaRavia. Harrison, who previously played with Memphis in the preseason, will join the team for his eighth NBA stop, while Nowell, who played with the Minnesota Timberwolves, will join from the Sacramento Kings' G League affiliate. The Grizzlies currently hold a 3-11 record.
