Ohio State's Hartline Impressed by Tate and QBs in Spring Practice.
Ohio State Buckeyes' new offensive coordinator, Brian Hartline, enjoyed calling plays during the team's first spring scrimmage and was impressed by freshman wide receiver Carnell Tate's attention to detail. Hartline also praised the progression of third-year player Jayden Ballard and the depth of the Buckeyes' wide receiver group. He sees his role as a learning opportunity and is focused on building a foundation with the team's younger players. Hartline also expressed pride in former Buckeyes Chris Olave and Garrett Wilson's success in the NFL.
