During the Parliament Budget Session, Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar reprimanded Congress MP Jairam Ramesh for his remarks against RLD chief Jayant Singh, stating that Ramesh did not deserve to be in the Upper House due to his "misconduct."
