
Wyoming Football Coach Craig Bohl Retires, Successor Already Named
Wyoming football coach Craig Bohl, who won three FCS national titles at North Dakota State and led the Cowboys to six bowl appearances, will retire after the Arizona Bowl. Defensive coordinator Jay Sawvel will replace Bohl as head coach. Bohl, who has been with Wyoming for 10 seasons, has won three bowl games, the most in team history. Sawvel, who has been with Wyoming for four years, will take over as head coach. Bohl is also a leading candidate to become the next executive director of the American Football Coaches Association.
