
Houston Texans Minority Owner Javier Loya Faces Rape Charges in Kentucky
Javier Loya, a minority owner of the Houston Texans, has been charged with first-degree rape, first-degree sexual abuse, and third-degree sexual abuse in Kentucky. Loya has pleaded not guilty and posted a $50,000 bond. The Texans have agreed that Loya will remove himself from any team or league activities while the charges are pending. Loya, the co-founder and chairman of OTC Global Holdings, has had a stake in the Texans since 2002. The case is set for a pretrial conference on August 22.
