Multiple Ex-FBI Agents Arrested for Involvement in Jan. 6 Capitol Riot
Former FBI supervisory agent, Jared L. Wise, was arrested in Bend on charges related to the Jan. 6 Capitol riot. Wise is accused of unlawfully entering the Capitol's restricted grounds, confronting police, and encouraging rioters to "kill 'em!" Wise worked for the FBI from 2004 until 2017 and was released after his first appearance in federal court in Eugene. He is ordered to appear by video for a hearing in the District of Columbia on May 9.
