Teen volleyball player sues St. Louis after losing legs in crash.
Janae Edmondson, a Tennessee teen who had her legs amputated after a car crash in downtown St. Louis in February, has filed a lawsuit against the city and the two drivers who hit her. The suit seeks an amount more than $25,000 in damages from the drivers, the city of St. Louis, and the driver of the other vehicle that struck Edmondson. The lawsuit blames the city for failing to maintain a safe intersection and says the drivers should be held liable for driving without a license and driving recklessly.
