Missing NY Boater's Body Found After Four-Day Search in Great South Bay
The body of James Jaronczyk, a 28-year-old boat racing enthusiast from Long Island, was found in Great South Bay after a four-day search by friends, family, and local marine crews. Jaronczyk was thrown overboard when his speedboat hit a wave on Sunday. The US Coast Guard suspended their search on Tuesday after scouring 1,000 nautical miles on the water and from the air. Suffolk County and Babylon teams continued the search with relatives and friends until he was found. Jaronczyk's speedboat, "Nauti Boyz," competed in local boat races, and he was preparing for an upcoming contest when he went missing.
